First recovered case

Radio Anguilla, The Valley – The Ministry of Health wishes to advise that as of Friday April 10th at 4pm, there is 1 recovered case in accordance with the CARPHA protocol for recovery; 1 confirmed case has now tested negative for COVID-19. Therefore, there are currently two (2) confirmed active cases on Anguilla who will subsequently be retested per established protocol.

In total there have been three confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The Ministry reminds persons to continue to reduce the risk by:

– Washing your hands for 20 seconds or more
– Covering your coughs and sneezes with disposal tissue
– Practicing social distancing; avoiding crowds, staying at
home (only leaving for exempted services) and maintaining
a physical distance of 3-6 feet from others.
