CARICOM at 50 – The Diaspora in New York celebrates
As the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) observes its 50th anniversary this year, CARICOM nationals are celebrating in the Diaspora.
On Thursday, the City of New York joined in the celebration of the Community’s golden anniversary, raising the CARICOM Flag during a ceremony in Bowling Green Park, Manhattan, New York.
The ceremony also featured Dominican Michele Henderson Delsol performing live the CARICOM Anthem, ‘Celebrating CARICOM’ which she wrote and sang.
