CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr. Carla Barnett, has had a number of consultations ahead of the opening of the Forty-Fourth Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM in Nassau, The Bahamas. The Meeting opens on Wednesday evening.
Since arriving in Nassau on Monday, Dr. Barnett has held discussions with Prime Minister of The Bahamas, the Hon. Philip Davis; the President of the Afreximbank, Prof. Benedict Okey Oramah; Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland to CARICOM, HE Seán Hoy; and the Director-General for Latin American and Caribbean Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China, Mr. Cai Wei.
