Belize – April 9 update
The Ministry of Health obtained 30 samples for COVID-19 on April 8 and confirmed the ninth case.
Patient is a minor who had direct contact with a previously identified patient.
The 30 samples tested yesterday include additional mapping samples for patients #6 and #7 and also from other health facilities across the country. This brings the total tests carried out to 364.
Belize has so far recorded one Covid-19 related death.
